Classification Manager in ArchiCAD

This article describes the Classification Manager and its function in ArchiCAD (AC). In ArchiCAD, model elements or building materials should be classified according to one or more classification systems. Classification determines the properties available for the elements. To ensure successful IFC data exchange with other disciplines, these elements must first be classified. Therefore, this topic is closely related to AC’s Properties Manager.
