Pipe Network Calculation: Water Supply, Plumbing, SolarComputer

This process standard describes the interface between Revit (modeling), MagiCAD (families), and Solar Computer (calculation).

The workflow can be roughly divided into:

• Setting up necessary piping network information
• Configuring and verifying user-defined piping system component families for solar export
• Defining system names
• Executing the piping network export via GBIS
• Import and calculation in the Solar-Computer programs
• Importing the Solar Computer results into the Revit drawing and resizing
